Celebrating western North Carolina’s rich agricultural background, the NC Mountain State Fair is a cozy way to welcome the fall season with astounding entertainers, mouthwatering local treats and classic mountain traditions.
Along with an assortment of thrilling rides, the Mountain State Fair features a wide selection of entertainment, including ten days of bluegrass performances at the Mountain Music Festival, high-speed pig racing at Wild Bill’s Speedway and a large display of livestock from local farms. Every evening the Zerbini Family Circus features a breathtaking array of stunts including juggling, chair balancing and the ‘Globe of Death,’ a high-intensity motorcycle performance inside a spherical cage.
