SGA works on creating diversity panel

Harry Samuels, executive of sustainability, is planning a mini-Greenfest, scheduled for mid-November.
Maya Newlin, executive of multicultural affairs, is working with the Intercultural Center to organize a diversity panel and to create a blog to keep the community updated on the Intercultural Center. Newlin is also working with the admissions office on three different programs to reach out to underprivileged children in the Asheville area.
Sen. Coraline Badgett’s Campus Works Committee has a number of projects in the works, but nothing definite yet.
Sen. Joe Baker’s Academic Affairs Committee is still looking for applicants for a student focus group to provide feedback on SGA’s weekly meetings and work on campus.
