Frankie and the Witch Fingers, an LA psych rock band, rocked the Grey Eagle on September 21. The band made up of two Indiana native co-founders, vocalist and guitarist Dylan Sizemore and Josh Menashe (sax, flute, synth, guitar, ect.), alongside two new members, bassist Nikki “Pickle” Smith and drummer Nick Aguilar put on an electrifying show for the Asheville area.
The psychedelic band recently released their album “Data Doom”, composed of nine amplifying tunes. In addition to “Data Doom”, the band has also released seven other albums each with its own intricate details but same magnifying sound.
Later this month, the band will be touring in Australia. While on tour, the band loves to play super mario cart, and jam out to bands like “LCD Soundsystem”. The band members said their inspirations are ever growing and evolving with new members and new sounds to listen to.
